Lunch and dinner have quite different offerings.... especially the seafood. The sushi is fairly limited. Food is always hot and the chafing dishes are replenished frequently. Rarely crowded on our three or four visits.
I've eaten Chinese all over the country and this is the best by far for Orange Chicken! It actually tastes like orange! Even though it's a buffet, there's lots of food in the takeout!
It had been a while since I dined at a Chinese buffet. While visiting family in Morristown, my sister suggested Golden Dragon. I read the reviews & honestly was a little scared. When we entered the restaurant, I was expecting dark & dingy, but I was pleasantly surprised by a brightly lit dining room. The restaurant appeared clean & many times while there I saw employees tending to the buffet & sweeping the floors. I started my meal with a plethora of fried appetizer style items: spring roll, rangoon, breaded chicken bite, chicken satay, battered fish filet & a corn nugget. They were all properly fried & tasty. I went back for entree items including beef & broccoli, seafood & veggies, seafood au gratin, chicken & mushrooms & some chunks of beef cooked in a cross between gravy & au jus which were melt-in-your-mouth tender. Everything was delish! I made a final trip to the buffet for dessert. That's actually where they lost one star. The tray of coffee/chocolate cake was terrific. The apple turnover was terrible. The egg custard tart was the best I've ever had in my life!! There was a dead fly in the tray of pineapple chunks. If not for the fly, it would have been a 5 star review. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
